Residential project located in Fischer, Texas, carefully positioned at the top of a hill to take full advantage of the natural landscape and climatic conditions. The design is based on bioclimatic strategies aimed at maximizing user comfort while reducing energy consumption.

Through a detailed site analysis, the optimal orientation was defined toward the northwest, allowing the house to open up with large windows and bedroom balconies that frame expansive views of the surrounding hills, while also benefiting from controlled solar gain and prevailing breezes.
The project is organized into three main volumes. The lateral volumes house the private areas, including one master bedroom, two secondary bedrooms, and a guest room located at the basement level.
The central elongated volume contains the social spaces, kitchen, and dining area, where large glazed openings were strategically placed to maintain a permanent visual connection with the landscape.

From this central body, the house extends toward a wooden deck, conceived as a transitional space between interior and exterior living. This deck allows for future expansion, such as the incorporation of a swimming pool, and connects directly to the outdoor recreation areas. Parking areas are located at the highest point of the hill, minimizing visual impact and preserving the natural slope of the terrain.

Casa Castillo represents a thoughtful approach to spatial organization and bioclimatic design, achieving a balance between environmental performance, architectural quality, and the refined taste of its owners—demonstrating that sustainability and comfort can coexist without compromising design excellence
