Sierra House is a restoration and renovation project of a single-family home with recognized heritage value, located in the Americana neighborhood of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
The property, dated between 1900 and 1920, is listed in the State of Jalisco’s Cultural Heritage Inventory and exemplifies vernacular Tapatío architecture, featuring traditional elements such as a carriage entrance, interior patios, high ceilings, wrought ironwork, and adobe walls.

The intervention seeks to preserve and revitalize the home's original character through careful restoration of its façade and interior spaces, along with a complete upgrade of electrical, plumbing, and drainage systems. A deteriorated rear annex will be replaced with a new living area that meets modern needs, while maintaining the original material palette and ensuring minimal visual impact on the surrounding context.

This project is part of a proposal submitted for the Call for Conservation and Restoration of Properties with Heritage Value, reflecting a strong commitment to preserving the architectural legacy of the city.
